On October 10, 2019, an opening ceremony was successfully held at magAssist to mark the establishment of its GMP factory. Government officials, experts and researchers, investors and business partners were invited to attend the ceremony.
Mr. Yurong Wu, Vice Director of the Office of Taiwan Affairs of Jiangsu Province, delivered his speech and praised the huge achievements obtained by the company in less than 2 years since its establishment and extended his wishes for a brighter future of the company.
GMP Factory officially launch
Dr. Po-Lin Hsu, founder and CEO of magAssist, extended her warm welcome to the attendees and introduced the milestones and visions of the company's development. "We hope to change lives through technologies and save the lives of those who shouldn't have left us" said Dr. Hsu. She also extended her thanks to those who have provided care, support and help since the company's inception. At the ceremony, Dr. Hsu presented to Professor Longfei Hei and Professor Xufeng Wei a letter of appointment as the 'Clinical Consultant of magAssist' to thank them for their guidance and support to the company. magAssist believes that the company will surely head forward to a brighter future with the strong support of clinical consultants.
Mr. Yujian Zhou, the Managing Partner of Med-Fine Capital, congratulated as the representative of investors attending the ceremony on the establishment of magAssist's GMP factory. As an investor, Zhou acknowledged and praised the company's fast R&D progress and is heartened to see the future development of magAssist. He also said that magAssist is one of the most promising incubating enterprises of Med-Fine Capital.
Professor Ulrich Steinseifer from RWTH Aachen University, also a member of the magAssist co-founding team, closely follows the development of the company; and, through a video message, he extended his congratulations for the launch of the GMP factory and acknowledged the company's development. Our Cooperative Technical Consultant, Mr. Thomas Logan, who holds a Cambridge Ph.D. in electrical engineering, and Professor Nobuyuki Kurita of Gunma University, who specializes in maglev technologies, shared experience in their technical cooperation with magAssist and firmly believe that the company will grow from strength to strength.
Mr. Ifan Yen, Director of Research & Development of magAssist, introduced the GMP factory and relevant products to the guests and extended heartfelt thanks to those who contributed their share to the establishment of the factory. He believed that magAssist will keep making improvements in product development and save more lives.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Hsu and magAssist's employees launched a special unveiling event by pouring red glitter powder on a banner. As the glitter powder streamed down, several Chinese characters appeared, showing the company's hope for 'clinical success and early listing', which is the common goal of all magAssist employees.
After the event, the participants had a tour of the GMP factory and exchanged in-depth discussions. Visitors highly acknowledged the high-quality construction, reasonable layout, and creative interior design of the factory and have shown their expectations and confidence in the company's products.
The GMP factory covers an area of 1,754 square meters. Its 10,000-class GMP clean factory and microbiology lab were set up in accordance with the newest international standards and laws and regulations. The reasonable and multi-functional layouts could reduce the risks of pollution and cross-contamination to the maximum extent during manufacturing processes and inspections and ensure product quality.
